Something not bubbling?

Spellbin is made by one person, and that person reads every support email. Write to the address below about anything: a bug, a refund, a stuck licence, or an idea for a skin.

What to put in the email

A screenshot or a short screen recording helps more than a long description.

Quick answers

I lost my licence key

Have it resent from the licence page. It goes to the email address you paid with.

I got a new Mac

Press Deactivate in Spellbin on the old Mac to free the seat, then activate on the new one. If the old Mac is gone for good, email support@spellbin.app and the seat will be freed by hand.

Activation says every seat is taken

Deactivate Spellbin on a Mac you no longer use, then try again. Need more Macs than your key covers? The Coven covers 5.

I want a refund

Email support@spellbin.app within 14 days of buying and you get the full amount back, no questions. Stripe sends the refund, and the key stops working once it is issued.

The flame stays inside the Dock icon

The flame needs Accessibility to rise above the Dock. Turn on Spellbin in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, then quit and reopen Spellbin so it notices.

⌘⌫ in Finder still goes to the normal Bin

That shortcut needs both Accessibility and Finder Automation. You can run the setup again any time from the Spellbin menu with Set Up Permissions…, or see what each permission does.

Feed to Spellbin is missing from the right-click menu

Open System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Services, and make sure Feed to Spellbin is ticked under Files and Folders. Logging out and back in also makes macOS pick it up.

Spellbin beeps and asks for a licence key

That is how Spellbin behaves without a licence. It leaves your files where they are and shows the key field. Paste the key from the page you saw after buying and press Activate, or buy a licence. Lost the key? See getting it back.

How do I uninstall it?

Quit Spellbin, drag it out of the Dock, then move it from Applications to the Bin. The licence stays in your keychain, so reinstalling later picks it up again.
